New patient questions

Do I need a GP referral to see a Chiropractor?
No. Chiropractors are primary healthcare practitioners in Australia, so you can book directly, no referral needed. If your case turns out to need a GP or specialist, we’ll write to them for you.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Comfortable clothing you can move in, activewear or loose casual clothes are perfect. We may ask you to bend, twist and walk during the assessment, so avoid anything restrictive.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Any recent scans or imaging reports (X-ray, CT, MRI) if you have them, a list of current medications, and your private health fund card if you plan to claim. That’s it.
Will I be treated on the first visit?
In most cases, yes, assessment first, then hands-on treatment if it’s appropriate and you’re comfortable proceeding. Occasionally we’ll hold off, for example if imaging is needed first. Either way you’ll leave with a clear plan.
How long will my first appointment take?
Allow up to an hour. That covers your full history, physical and movement assessment, a plain-English explanation of what we find, treatment where appropriate, and your questions.
Do you take X-rays?
Only if your history or examination indicates they’re genuinely needed, they’re not taken routinely. If imaging is required, we refer you to a local provider and review the results with you.

Sixty minutes. Zero guesswork.

Book your initial consultation online, it takes less than a minute, and you can pick a time that actually suits you.
